Schedule/Hours:
Flexibility to alternate shifts, including weekends and holidays Call coverage as needed Overtime and flex hours to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program Minimum of 2 years of CT experience ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography registration required
IEMA-DNS
radiography accreditation required Approved CPR or BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic CT and, if assigned, radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams Corroborate patient clinical history and ensure proper documentation for the radiologist Prepare and instruct patients for procedures to obtain optimal results and reduce anxiety Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate techniques for accurate imaging Apply patient positioning and immobilization practices Prepare, administer, and manage contrast media and IV access when necessary Initiate life support actions if required and deliver patient education Ensure safety protocols, inventory control, and universal precautions are followed Offer practical instruction to students and peers
