Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Embark on an important role advancing patient care by utilizing your expertise in computed tomography (CT). This contract opportunity calls for a skilled imaging professional passionate about accurate diagnostics and patient well-being in a dynamic clinical environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
ARRT (R) certification required; advanced CT credentialing preferred Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical or hospital setting Thorough understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and proper imaging protocols Adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards Proficient in obtaining high-quality images for physician interpretation Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring image clarity and diagnostic accuracy Properly position patients for optimal imaging results and patient comfort Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in digital systems Monitor and report equipment functionality and ensure regular maintenance Uphold quality assurance checks, including calibration and safety compliance Educate patients about CT procedures and answer their questions to alleviate concerns Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff for seamless patient workflow
