Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible to practice in North Carolina Minimum of one year recent CVICU nursing experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Demonstrated ability to manage patient care for complex cardiovascular conditions Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based patient care according to professional nursing standards Collaborate with diverse interprofessional teams for coordinated patient management Organize, assess, and prioritize patients' needs—physical, emotional, and educational Utilize hospital policies and best practices to ensure high quality, cost-effective care Engage in ongoing professional development and unit improvement initiatives Educate patients and families, addressing readiness to learn and discharge needs Participate in research activities and apply current evidence to practice Promote a clean, safe, and patient-centered environment
