Expand your resume with advanced cardiac and general surgical cases, and develop deeper insights into diverse leadership and nursing philosophies while supporting complex surgical specialties.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift: Monday-Friday, primarily 6:30am-3pm (8-hour shifts preferred), occasional start as early as 5:30amOn-call:
10-12 call shifts every 6 weeks, 1-2 weekend and 1-2 weekday calls per period 30-minute call response required; on-site call rooms availableQualifications:
Current RN license in Ohio or compact state At least 2 years recent cardiac experience and 1-2 years general surgery experience (travel experience preferred)BLS, ACLS, NIH
certification required Dysrhythmia exam (study guide provided) Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; CNOR and PALS a plusResponsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout all surgical phases Circulate cardiac and general surgical procedures: CABG, TAVRs, VATs, general, open and windows Serve as a resource and safety advocate for patients and team Administer medications per protocols, coordinate care, and educate patients/families Maintain aseptic techniques and operate specialized surgical equipment Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing educationBenefits & Perks:
