Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification as an Echo Technologist (i.e., ARDMS/CCI). Prior experience performing cardiac ultrasound/echocardiogram imaging. Familiarity with contemporary echo equipment and digital recordkeeping. Strong patient communication skills and adaptability to new clinical environments. BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred. Previous travel or hospital-based experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret echocardiograms according to physician orders. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care. Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure proper patient documentation. Operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot as needed. Provide compassionate care while adapting to a new team dynamic.
