Job Description
Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Travel Embark on your next travel assignment in vibrant Kansas City, KS—a city brimming with culture, dynamic neighborhoods, and unique culinary experiences. Not only will you enjoy the energetic Midwest charm and historic attractions, but you'll also take part in meaningful professional growth by collaborating within an accomplished healthcare environment renowned for its commitment to quality care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Work closely with highly skilled clinicians and leaders known for innovative cardiac imaging practices. This role brings invaluable experience, exposing you to comprehensive cardiac ultrasound procedures in a setting using the latest GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX technology. Your time in Kansas City will bolster your expertise, broaden your clinical portfolio, and present rewarding challenges in various units, from the OR and cath lab to the EP lab. Schedule 8-hour shifts, Monday through
Friday:
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM No weekend shifts requiredOn-call:
One night per week No holiday coverage required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of clinical cardiac ultrasound experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer At least 4,000 echocardiograms performed RCS-CCI orRDCS-ARDMS
; BLS certification requiredPreferred:
Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound or health science program Training and/or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration Neonatal echo experience a plus, but not required Responsibilities Conduct resting, stress, and TEE echocardiograms using state-of-the-art equipment Provide expert cardiac imaging for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in OR, cath lab, and EP lab settings Complete essential documentation within theEPIC EMR
