Qualifications:
Active RN license (NC or compact state) Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ER setting BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Strong critical thinking and triage skills Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and workflows Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Perform rapid assessments and prioritization of emergent cases Administer medications, interventions, and monitoring as ordered Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
