On your days off, explore historic Route 66, local breweries, and scenic trails, making every moment outside the hospital as rewarding as your time within it. Professionally, this is a valuable chance to expand your expertise in a renowned Level 1 trauma center, recognized for patient safety and innovative leadership. You'll integrate with a high-performing team, gaining exposure to advanced clinical workflows, modern technology (Epic EMR), and best practices in emergency medicine. This assignment will significantly enhance your resume, adding credible, high-acuity trauma experience and broadening your skill set in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours (select upon application) 13-week assignment Some weekends as needed; no call requiredQualifications & Experience:
Active RN license valid in Missouri BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only); TNCC required; NIHSS required prior to startMinimum:
1 year ED experience at a Level 1 trauma center OR 2 years at a Level 2 center (must be on resume) High acuity trauma/pediatrics experience (preferred) Strong communication, decisive, adaptableKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care for all ages Work within an elite trauma, STEMI, and burn center Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Collaborate with ancillary teams to optimize outcomes Uphold patient confidentiality and rightsBenefits & Travel Perks:
