Travel Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Alexandria, LA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time night position (7PM - 7AM) places you on a very high acuity unit where you'll encounter a broad spectrum of cases, including strokes, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, sepsis, and some trauma. 7PM - 7AM Every other weekend No on-call, no floating between units

Ideal Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Active RN license (state of employment or compact)

BLS, ACLS, PALS

(AHA required) TNCC certification 1+ year of recent ER nursing preferred Strong clinical judgment and flexibility in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process Monitor, assess, medicate, and educate patients and families Manage complex and routine cases in a rapidly changing environment Delegate responsibilities appropriately to support staff Compliance with ongoing organizational and competency validations
