Working in this vibrant locale offers the unique chance to immerse yourself in a diverse healthcare environment at a top-tier regional medical center, designated as a Level III Trauma and Level II Stroke Center. This assignment will allow you to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary emergency team treating over 60,000 patients annually, amplifying your clinical expertise and expanding your professional network. As a travel nurse here, you'll benefit from exposure to a variety of workplace protocols and leadership methodologies, broadening your adaptability and strengthening your resume. Schedule/Hours:
Options for 36 or 48 hours per week Assigned holidays as required Every other weekend shifts Flexibility to float to other units and hospitals as needed
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact state (no temporary licenses) Minimum 2 years RN experience (will consider 18 months if highest-level license, and at least 1 year in ER specialty) Current
AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS
certifications NIH or Red Cross Certification TNCC Certification SECURE on-site certification
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to emergency room patients of all ages Respond promptly and efficiently to various trauma and medical emergencies Maintain a safe, collaborative environment within a fast-paced regional emergency department Float to additional units or affiliated hospitals as required
