Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant heart of southwest Missouri in Republic, a charming community just outside Springfield—a region celebrated for its welcoming atmosphere, outdoor adventures, and unique attractions. Working at a premier 68-bed urban trauma center, you'll immerse yourself in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment committed to innovation, safety, and exceptional patient outcomes. This 13-week travel nursing assignment is an ideal opportunity to expand your expertise in emergency nursing, work alongside skilled healthcare professionals, and observe dynamic leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts, 19:00-07:00 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (as chosen during submission) Weekend hours as required No call requirements
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible for Missouri
BLS, ACLS, PALS
(AHA only) and TNCC required; NIHSS required prior to start At least 1 year ED experience in Level 1 OR 2 years in Level 2 Trauma setting (must be on resume) Exceptional clinical, assessment, and communication skills Experience in trauma/peds, high-volume ED (200+ patients/day), and high acuity preferred Comfortable providing care for diverse, complex cases (trauma, stroke, STEMI, burns)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care across all age groups, utilizing assessment, triage, and intervention skills Monitor and coordinate patient activities with ancillary teams to enhance care and comfort Uphold nursing standards, patient confidentiality, and hospital values Maintain professionalism in both patient interactions and teamwork
