• RN-ER Job Type Travel Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses are needed for a dynamic, high-acuity department serving a diverse patient population, including all ages from infants to geriatrics.

This contract opportunity requires seasoned professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and possess a comprehensive skill set in emergency care.

Schedule/Hours:

Day shift: 7:00am

• 7:00pm Mid shift: 11:00am
• 11:00pm Night shift: 7:00pm
• 7:00am Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend required) Holiday rotations assigned based on department needs

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years' recent ER experience at any trauma level BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required Strong IV starting, foley and NG tube insertion skills Experience in triage, neuro assessments, codes, and handling critical patients Proficiency in initiating and titrating cardiac and sedation drips, as well as hyper/hypothermia protocols Prior experience with Cerner EMR preferred Must be adaptable, a proven team player, and comfortable acting as an expert and leader within the ER First-time travelers are not eligible

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing to a wide array of patients, including those with complex medical, trauma, and behavioral health concerns Perform accurate and timely triage and ongoing assessments Assist with bedside procedures and moderate sedation Participate actively in team collaboration and ensure expert care continuity Float within the ER as necessary, based on department needs
