Desired Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum one year of recent ER nursing experience preferred Proficiency with
EPIC EMR
(training provided if needed) Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt and float between departments and local campuses as needed BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (other credentials as required by department)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care as part of a multidisciplinary team Rapidly assess and triage patients within a high-acuity emergency department Document thoroughly and accurately within the EPIC system Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, offering insights and updates May be asked to take on charge or precepting responsibilities Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and efficient patient care environment
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation dates available throughout the year (see provided dates) 16 hours of New Beginnings Orientation (NBO) Expect possible floating within your discipline to local sites
