This role is based in a dynamic Emergency Department setting, encompassing a 54-bed, state-designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of expert physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff, treating over 60,000 patients per year. Schedule/Hours:

Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week Holidays as required Every other weekend Flexibility to float to other units and hospitals

Qualifications:

Associate degree in nursing Registered Nurse, State of Alabama or Compact license (no temp licenses accepted) Two years of experience (will consider 18 months if at highest professional license and at least 1 year of current specialty experience)

AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA

PALS or Red Cross, NIHSS TNCC certification SECURE certification on site NURSYS licensure verification

Responsibilities:

Deliver expert emergency care to patients of all ages Assess and respond to trauma and acute medical needs Float to various units and local hospitals as necessary Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care
