Schedule/Hours:
Night Shifts:
7:00 pm - 7:00 am Choice of 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (specify preference when applying) 13-week assignment Weekend hours as facility requires; no call requirements Block scheduling is not available; orientation occurs during day shift
Role Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct care for all age groups in a busy urban trauma center Coordinate care with ancillary departments to optimize outcomes and patient comfort Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety protocols per Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility values Evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by all team members Maintain preparedness for high-volume, high-acuity trauma and medical emergencies
Qualifications:
Active RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for licensure
BLS, ACLS, PALS
(AHA only); TNCC; NIHSS (obtain before start)
Minimum:
1 year of Level 1 ED experience or 2 years in Level 2 Trauma; must be listed on resume Strong communication skills and flexibility Experience with trauma, pediatrics, and EMR (EPIC) highly preferred
