Work Setting:
On-site (clinic-based) Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' functional status and occupational therapy needs Assist physicians in developing individualized therapy plans of care Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with state practice guidelines and physician orders Monitor patient progress and report condition changes to the supervising nurse and physician Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans, goals, and functional limitations Complete patient evaluations, treatment documentation, and progress notes accurately and timely per company policy Develop and implement OT plans of care within state-specific guidelines Deliver compassionate care in diverse home environments regardless of patient background or condition Required Qualifications Current Alabama Occupational Therapy License Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current vehicle insurance Ability to travel within assigned coverage area Preferred Skills Strong communication and patient education skills Home health experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k
