Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Pickerington, OH

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Travel Provide expert pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting as a night shift pharmacist. This role offers a travel opportunity focused on delivering high-quality medication management and patient services. You will work a consistent schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Thursday through Wednesday nights.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, interpret, and dispense medication orders with accuracy and compliance to safety standards. Monitor and manage patient medication therapies to ensure safe and effective treatment tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain and adhere to departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and pharmacy regulations. Provide drug information and education to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Respond to medical emergencies by assisting in medication preparation and ensuring availability of necessary medications. Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technician activities to enhance operational efficiency. Foster collaborative communication with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes. Uphold organizational values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork in all interactions and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school. Valid Ohio pharmacy license in good standing. Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
