Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Nestled near Calvert City, Kentucky, this travel assignment gives you the chance to discover the heart of western Kentucky, a region where scenic lakes meet Southern charm. Expand your resume with advanced critical care experience in a 13-bed ICU (with overflow), where every day brings new learning opportunities and challenges.
Schedule:
Night shift (12 hours) Every other weekend/holiday
Qualifications:
Current RN license (compact/multi-state eligible) Minimum 4 years RN experience preferred (open to discussing less for exceptional candidates) Minimum two recent travel contracts required
BLS, ACLS
certifications required; PALS preferred Dysrhythmia exam required Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred Strong communication skills and clinical judgement
Responsibilities:
Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments; create and implement dynamic plans of care Provide safe administration of medications and critical care interventions (ventilators, cardiac drips, CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO) Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage multi-system organ dysfunction Document and communicate patient conditions effectively Serve as a champion for patient safety and quality care improvement initiatives
