Job Description
Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Discover an exciting travel opportunity in the charming city of Pooler, GA—a destination that blends southern hospitality with vibrant local culture. Working here offers more than just a change of scenery; you'll immerse yourself in a region known for its welcoming atmosphere and easy access to beautiful coastal areas and historic sites. During your downtime, enjoy exploring unique shops, sampling cuisine, and taking in nearby beaches or nature trails. This role places you in a modern environment with three Angiography Labs, including dedicated IR spaces and a Hybrid OR. As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll work with skilled Lead Techs, RNs, and fellow technologists, fostering valuable exposure to diverse clinical practices and leadership styles. Enhance your clinical acumen and broaden your resume by taking on a wide range of complex and high-acuity cases—from stroke to trauma to advanced vascular procedures.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week On-call rotationQualifications & Experience:
ARRT (RTR) or RCIS credentials required ActiveBLS & ACLS
certifications (must have) Demonstrated experience in Angio/IR, including stroke and trauma care Prior ICU or ER experience strongly preferred Critical care drip management skills Able to work collaboratively within 3-4 person teams (2 Tech, 2 RN ideal staffing) Proficient with EPIC Cupid documentation systemCore Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with procedures such as Permcath and Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, and trauma interventions Deliver exceptional patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio Employ and maintain safe operation of IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream technology Assist with critical care management pre/post proceduresPerks & Benefits:
