Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Set in the scenic community of Rincon, GA, this unique travel assignment offers an incredible opportunity to expand your career among skilled professionals specializing in Interventional Radiology. The area's blend of Southern charm and proximity to vibrant attractions means your work will be complemented by rewarding adventures and time to discover local culture, dining, and outdoor activities. Serving in a leading Angiography/IR role, you'll work in a modern facility featuring three advanced Angiography Labs—two dedicated to IR and one hybrid OR. Here, you'll engage in direct patient care, manage intricate cases, and collaborate within a high-performance team. Working side by side with lead techs, registered nurses, and certified technologists, you'll gain exposure to diverse workplace practices, strengthening your professional network and enhancing your knowledge base.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week with on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
ARRT / RTR and/or RCIS credentials Current
ACLS & BLS
certifications required ICU or ER experience necessary Proven expertise in Angio/IR procedures, including critical care drip management, stroke, and trauma care Familiarity with EPIC Cupid documentation system preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cutting-edge equipment, including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems Provide 1:1 patient care in a specialized environment Perform advanced procedures such as permcath placements, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, and trauma interventions Function as part of a 3-4 person care team, collaborating with RNs and technologists for optimal outcomes Uphold strict safety and quality protocols
