Required Qualifications/Experience:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiology Technology. Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology preferred. Valid, current license to practice as required by state regulations. Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) in a hospital or acute care setting. Strong knowledge of IR equipment, protocols, and safety practices. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
Role Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under physician guidance. Ensure excellent patient care before, during, and after procedures. Operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment with a high level of competency. Accurately document procedures and maintain patient charts. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care. Adhere to all hospital protocols, policies, and radiation safety standards.
