Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Make a meaningful impact in patient care by applying your expertise as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. In this contract opportunity, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians during advanced imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality diagnostic services. Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology (VI) preferred or willingness to obtain Valid state licensure as required for radiologic technologists BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum of one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Imaging Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Assist physicians during image-guided, minimally invasive vascular and nonvascular procedures Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines Monitor patients' vital signs and document clinical data throughout procedures Manage imaging records and coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Uphold rigorous infection prevention and quality assurance standards in procedure rooms Support supply management, equipment calibration, and room preparation
