1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures in an outpatient setting in Los Gatos, CA. Details Outpatient mammography setting, first floor imaging center Performs 16-18 exams per shift Procedures include routine mammography, breast biopsies, and needle localization 5x8 hour day shifts with two shift options: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Primarily Monday-Friday schedule with 1-2 Saturdays per month Requirements Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required Current BLS required CA Radiologic Technology (CRT) license and CA Mammography license (RHM) required — license required if applicable ARRT certification required unless the candidate holds a CA State Mammography License Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Additional Information Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures including biopsies and needle localization to produce diagnostic-quality images Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety May be responsible for orienting other staff to the department Previous employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration American Traveler Job ID #
