Schedule/Hours:

12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) Weekend, holiday, and call coverage required 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted NY RN license required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum of one successful travel RN assignment completed (first-time travelers not accepted) Experience in Coronary Care is essential Must be comfortable floating to Med/Surg and PCU Hospital RN experience preferred BLS certification (at hire or within 3 months) Strong nursing principles and the ability to provide high-quality patient care Recognize and act on safety issues, proficient use of patient lifts Ability to thrive in stressful situations, demonstrating creative problem-solving Effective prioritization, delegation, and leadership skills; charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, comprehensive nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units Evaluate and address clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs of patients Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for patients and staff Utilize advanced assessment and monitoring skills in fast-paced settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support hospital-wide best practices Maintain meticulous documentation and communication
