Key Qualifications:

Current and valid RN license Previous experience in an operating room setting Competency in perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary surgical team

Responsibilities:

Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical specialties Monitor patient status and advocate for safety throughout the perioperative process Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies Assist in patient positioning, anesthesia induction, and surgical site preparation Maintain strict adherence to aseptic practices and infection control standards Document surgical care accurately and promptly Support and educate patients and families regarding perioperative care Contribute to a positive environment for patients and healthcare colleagues alike
