As a Registered Nurse with a focus on Med Surg/Telemetry, you'll work alongside accomplished nursing professionals and clinical leaders, gaining exposure to a variety of care protocols, patient populations, and interdisciplinary work styles. Schedule/Hours:

12-hour night shifts Every other weekend and holiday required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, manage Med Surg/Telemetry patients including ortho, neuro, and chronic care populations Administer medications (including drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Insulin) and manage devices such as wound vacs, PICC lines, Central lines, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a safety and patient care advocate Mentor and orient other staff; deliver patient and family education Maintain documentation in

EPIC EHR

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license in OH or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience Experience managing insulin gtts Dysrhythmia exam completion required (study guide available) BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications Prior travel nursing experience not required
