Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Travel Experience Arizona's high desert beauty and vibrant Native American heritage in Fort Defiance, where every shift is both a professional and personal adventure. Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts Flexibility to work additional shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care within an adult and pediatric med-surg unit (20 beds) Manage a patient load with excellent nurse-to-patient ratios: Non-Covid (typically 4:1, max 5:1); Covid (typically 2:1, max 3:1) Care for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric Occasionally float to other qualified units for patient care or task-based assignments (e.g., answering call lights/phones) Assist with Flu Immunization clinics as assigned Attend scheduled staff meetings
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license with three years of recent med-surg experience At least one year of recent pediatric nursing experience Comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult patient populations American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required) Flexibility with assignments and shift scheduling Strong commitment to teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment
