Qualifications:
Current, active RN license in good standing (eligible for Illinois) Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and evidence-based clinical interventions Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to varied facility protocols BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit, ensuring safety and quality Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, reporting changes promptly Provide emotional support and education to patients and families Uphold compliance with all hospital standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
