In this MedSurg role, you'll expand your resume by working with a diverse patient population, primarily post-surgical cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro-focused patients. Schedule/Hours:
7AM - 7PM Full time, weekend shifts may be required depending on department needs
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required One year of recent experience in a related nursing specialty preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a plus Experience with EPIC is a bonus
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process Administer medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness and side effects Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Assess education needs and provide resources to patients and their families Utilize sound judgment in making assignments and delegating to other caregivers Float between units as needed, adapting to various clinical environments
