Schedule/Hours 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Role Overview:
Step into a dynamic med/surg rehabilitation environment with 41 beds and a supportive, multidisciplinary staff. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team—comprising RNs, LPNs, and rehabilitation professionals—with a patient ratio of 1:6, making time for both high-quality care and patient education.
Essential Qualifications:
Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg hospital experience Current BLS certification Strong communication and patient education abilities Compassionate advocacy for patients and their families
Preferred Experience:
CRRN Certification Familiarity with Quality Indicator scoring in a post-acute setting Telemetry skills with competency in Airstrip telemetry ACLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in developing and implementing rehabilitation care plans Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient evaluations Administer IV antibiotics, IV medications, blood products, and perform lab draws Operate patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, and complete wound vac dressing changes Educate patients and families on care and programs to support recovery
