Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Take your MRI expertise to Racine, WI—a scenic lakeside community known for its vibrant arts scene and inviting green spaces. This travel assignment places you in a region that lets you enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan and charming downtown adventures during your downtime. Working in this dynamic environment gives you a chance to gain firsthand experience with diverse patient populations in a Level IV Trauma and Primary Stroke Center, broadening your clinical knowledge while learning from accomplished local leaders. This assignment will strengthen your MRI skillset, offering a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. Exposure to various workflow settings, EPIC charting, and advanced Siemens Sola 1.5T and Skyra 3T scanners will make your resume stand out. The department values cross-disciplinary teamwork and open communication, fostering strong collaborative and leadership skills you'll carry throughout your career.
Schedule/Hours:
Department rotates on-call responsibilities. One weekend shift/month. Up to 7 days approved time off.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current ARRT (MR) registration and BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience. Solid grasp of MR safety, peripheral IV starts, IV contrast injection, and implant workup. Experience with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Skyra 3T scanners is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfort working with inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely perform all MRI exams for diverse patient populations. Prepare patients, including IV starts and contrast administration. Adhere to safety protocols and support implant workups. Document thoroughly in EPIC charting system. Collaborate with radiologists and care teams. Participate in on-call department rotation.
