Job Description

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday (6:30 am-3:00 pm) On-call rotation: 4 days/month
Role Overview:
As an MRI Technologist, you'll operate powerful imaging modalities in a dynamic setting, working closely with experienced team members and providing compassionate care to a diverse patient mix. Expand your resume by gaining experience with both inpatient and outpatient populations, as well as the latest GE 1.5T Signa Artist and 3T Premier MRI systems. Benefit from direct collaboration with radiologists, opportunities to mentor new staff or students, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete high-quality MR imaging based on established protocols Apply magnetic resonance safety standards for all Ensure patient and procedural data are accurate and thoroughly documented Perform IV injections and administer contrast agents for required procedures Troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate as needed Participate in onboarding and training of new staff and students Deliver clear explanations and guidance to patients before, during, and after imaging
Desired Qualifications:
1+ year MRI experience in a hospital environment American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registry (required or obtained within 1 year) BLS certification (required before providing patient care) Proficiency with GE MRI equipment required; PACS and
EPIC EHR
experience preferred Team player with dedication to patient safety and high-quality care
