This travel assignment offers significant professional growth as you provide safe, age-appropriate imaging care and collaborate on a variety of complex, independent procedures. Enrich your résumé with advanced technical expertise and the satisfaction of contributing to outstanding patient care during a Monday to Thursday daytime schedule (8:30am-7:00pm), with on-call only for holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain comprehensive clinical histories and assess for contraindications before procedures Prepare, position, and monitor patients for MRI studies, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure calibration Administer or prepare contrast agents as appropriate and follow physician instructions precisely Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to alleviate concerns and explain procedures Review images for diagnostic quality, label anatomy accurately, and transmit studies to PACS Maintain Joint Commission, hospital, and departmental standards for safety, quality, and documentation Participate in training/orientation of colleagues and support multi-departmental workflow as needed Ensure the MRI suite is secure, clean, and properly stockedDesired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited MRI Technology program; ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification BLS certification required Minimum one year of successful MRI Technologist experience Strong communication, customer service, organization, and critical thinking skills Proficiency in independent judgment, multi-tasking, and teamwork Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety standardsBenefits & Perks:
