Job Description
Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant community of New Berlin, WI, where your expertise in MRI imaging can make a real difference. Positioned near the cultural and recreational attractions of metropolitan Milwaukee, this travel assignment provides a unique opportunity to work at a leading regional medical center recognized for its excellence, including Level II Trauma, Magnet status, and advanced stroke care. Explore nearby parks, restaurants, and thriving arts while expanding your professional journey. Working here means gaining experience with diverse patient populations—including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and specialized cases such as neuro, cardiac, and ventilated/Sedated patients—further enriching your resume. You'll collaborate with a seasoned team, learn varied leadership styles, and refine your skills on both GE and Siemens MRI equipment, preparing you for the next stage in your career.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend Weekly rotating first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call (approximately once every 8 weeks; includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off)On-call:
Saturday and Sunday nights 2100-0630; backup on-call Saturday and Sunday 0630-2100 (30 min response time) Holiday expectations based on unit needsDesired Experience & Qualifications:
3-5 years MRI experience BLS (Basic Life Support) ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification Experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magentom Skyra, and McKesson PACS Proficiency in EPIC charting system Comfort with a wide variety of patient types, including neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, cardiac—ventilated and sedated a plus Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptableKey Responsibilities:
Perform MRI imaging for diverse patient groups (outpatient, inpatient, ED) Ensure accurate documentation and charting Work collaboratively with lead techs, coordinators, and imaging assistants Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environmentBenefits & Travel Perks:
