Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in MRI imaging for an exciting contract opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your advanced imaging abilities and attention to detail will support patient care and accurate diagnostics as you work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring safety, comfort, and proper technique Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing clear instructions and maintaining communication Evaluate and assess images for quality assurance before submitting to physicians for interpretation Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational protocols Adhere to all safety guidelines regarding magnet safety and infection control Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and promptly report malfunctions Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to optimize patient workflow
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or registration as an MRI technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging within a healthcare setting Comprehensive knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and patient care practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow detailed scanning protocols and adapt to rapidly changing priorities Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality Basic technical troubleshooting proficiency This contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your MRI expertise in a supportive clinical environment, making a direct impact on patient outcomes and contributing to high standards of care.
