Schedule:
Day Shift:
Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 7:00pm On-call during holidays only
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI imaging studies and technical procedures, ensuring quality results through proper patient positioning and equipment usage Assess clinical history and contraindications; follow contrast media protocols with precision and safety Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and clear communication Respond to emergencies, assist other technologists, and participate fully in department teamwork Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment; uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control Participate in quality control, documentation, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards Educate patients and collaborate professionally with physicians, staff, and families
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited MRI or Medical Technology program Valid certification (ARMRIT or ARRT-MR); BLS certification required At least 1 year of experience in MRI Strong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced setting Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service
