Emergency Department Registered Nurse Job Details:
- Deliver safe, effective and quality patient-family centered care in emergency department setting
- Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team in developing patient care plans
- Maintain high degree of confidentiality and support organizational mission, vision, and values
- Function independently in fast-paced emergency environment
- Act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
- Current Maine RN licensure required or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire date
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills needed
