Emergency Department Registered Nurse Job Details:
  • Deliver safe, effective and quality patient-family centered care in emergency department setting
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team in developing patient care plans
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality and support organizational mission, vision, and values
  • Function independently in fast-paced emergency environment
  • Act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
  • Current Maine RN licensure required or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire date
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills needed
