Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Make a meaningful impact by applying your occupational therapy expertise within a hospital setting. You'll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team, delivering high-quality therapy services to patients on a contract basis.
Key Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Clinical experience in a hospital environment is preferred Proficiency in evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans for diverse patient populations Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team Excellent documentation and communication abilities Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic clinical settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and therapy needs Develop personalized treatment programs to promote recovery, improve function, and enhance quality of life Carry out evidence-based therapy interventions and provide exceptional patient care Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and discharge planning Accurately document all care, progress notes, and outcomes according to hospital protocols Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and post-discharge care Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies You will enjoy the opportunity to expand your skills in a supportive clinical environment while helping patients achieve their highest level of independence.
