Job Description
Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel A travel opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in hospital-based home health services. This role offers a dynamic caseload with a focus on orthopedic and deconditioned patients, providing essential coaching on life skills such as bathing, cooking, and dressing to support patients in maintaining independence at home. Experience with lymphedema management is highly valued, as you will be addressing chronic swelling concerns. Additionally, pediatric experience is beneficial, as the position involves working with patients across all age groups without discrimination.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 4-5 patient visits per day, delivering personalized OT care in home environments. Provide coaching and support for life skills to enhance patient independence. Manage documentation and supervisory visit notes, especially for cases involving COTA support. Utilize web-based EMR systems and iPads for scheduling, charting, and communication. Collaborate remotely through scheduling and meetings, ensuring seamless coordination. Occasionally visit the office for case reviews and administrative tasks.Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant home health experience. Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and care for deconditioned patients. Lymphedema specialty or experience is a strong plus. Pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills to manage charting and patient supervision. Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with multidisciplinary teams. New graduates may be considered based on qualifications.Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (approximately 72 hours per pay period).Location Overview:

This is a travel assignment with reimbursable mileage at a rate of 0.725 per mile, allowing flexibility and support for your transportation needs. The role includes a mix of remote and occasional office-based tasks.
