Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Deliver essential therapy services in a dynamic hospital environment, making a meaningful difference for patients in need of occupational therapy. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to apply their expertise in a supportive, fast-paced setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license Previous hospital-based experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of therapy assessments and patient care planning Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation skills Adaptability and a compassionate approach to patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals Implement therapeutic interventions to help patients improve function and adapt to physical limitations Record and report progress, updating treatment approaches as needed Educate patients and their families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and post-discharge health strategies Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care, progress, and discharge planning Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements This contract position offers exposure to a wide range of patient cases and the satisfaction of supporting recovery in an acute care environment.
