Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations of patient function using formal and informal assessments of skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status. Develop tailored treatment plans grounded in assessment data and patient tolerance to meet specific goals. Submit written treatment regimes for physician authorization; regularly update care plans to reflect patient progress and status changes. Review and co-sign verbal orders received by therapy assistants, maintaining strong communication and compliance. Devise and coordinate treatment schedules, discussing frequency and duration with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff. Provide thorough education to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities, exercises, and rest as appropriate.Qualifications:
Current license (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist. Previous hospital-based therapy experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead and delegate to assistants and aides confidently. Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.Benefits & Perks:
