Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Bring your occupational therapy expertise to a respected hospital environment, providing high-quality care to patients requiring rehabilitation services. This contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate professionals who are enthusiastic about helping individuals regain and improve their functional abilities. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic setting, ensuring patient-centered therapy plans and positive health outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Experience delivering therapy in a hospital setting is strongly preferred. Excellent clinical reasoning and documentation skills. Strong communication abilities, both with patients and within a team. Adaptable and able to manage a diverse caseload. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.Key Responsibilities:
Assess new patients and develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other team members. Implement evidence-based occupational therapy techniques to promote patient independence and recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed. Educate patients and families about therapy processes and aftercare for optimal outcomes. Document therapy plans, sessions, and patient progress in compliance with hospital guidelines. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to comprehensive discharge planning.
