Skills and Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in medical-surgical oncology nursing BLS certification (required); OCN preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patient care Adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to evidence-based practice
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients in a medical-surgical setting Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor for adverse reactions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to devise and modify care plans Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, side effects, and recovery Document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
