Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2200 - $2574 Weekly Gross- 13 week contract

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period. The RN must be able to function independently and collaboratively within the surgical team while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room. Assist in the recovery room/PACU as needed. Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards. Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately during perioperative care. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals. Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures. Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum operating room experience required. Must have scrub experience. Ability to circulate and recover patients as needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills. BLS certification required. CNOR certification preferred.
