Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
40-hour work week General hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Occasional late days according to surgical caseloads Rotational call including weekdays, weekends, and holidays (1-2 days/week, every other or every third weekend) Immerse yourself in a surgical department featuring three modern OR suites, a dedicated PACU, and pre-op areas. You'll be an integral member of a close-knit team performing general, OB/GYN, ophthalmology (cataract), and orthopedic procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Valid RN license in Colorado Graduate from an accredited nursing program Minimum 3 years' RN experience in Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU strongly preferred ACLS certification required; CNOR and scrub experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in all perioperative areas: Pre-op, OR/circulating, and PACU Conduct patient assessments, coordinate transfers, recover patients, and circulate cases Participate in instrument/equipment processing and patient education Maintain strict adherence to infection control and national standards (IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, ASPAN) Collaborate with and support fellow surgical staff Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in high-stress clinical situations
