Working here as a travel RN in the Operating Room offers more than just a resume boost: you'll gain direct exposure to advanced technologies like DaVinci Robotics, collaborate with seasoned clinicians, and expand your skills through complex surgical procedures ranging from transplants to total joints and robotics. This travel role places you within a high-performing perioperative team in a modern 16-bed OR suite, where learning and innovation are woven into daily practice. You'll work alongside dedicated professionals, benefit from varied leadership approaches, and have the autonomy to self-schedule after initial onboarding—giving you flexibility to enjoy mountain getaways, city attractions, and the best that Colorado has to offer during your downtime.
Schedule/Hours:
Shifts:
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM On-call rotation (8-12 calls per 8 week period; 30 minute response time required) First shifts scheduled by department; self-scheduling available thereafter
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent acute care OR CST experience Active NBSTA and DORA certifications (required) Experience with DaVinci or other robotic-assisted equipment (preferred) Transplant or spine OR experience highly valued Familiarity with Meditech is a plus
Responsibilities:
Assist with a variety of complex surgical procedures (joint replacements, transplants, spine, robotics, vascular, ENT, plastics) Ensure accurate documentation using Meditech/CPN EMR Work collaboratively with RNs, CNAs, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities and rapid response situations
