Active Texas Physical Therapy license prior to the start of the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient clinic experience required, including evaluations, plan of care development, and documentation in an outpatient setting. Experience with functional treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques. Competence in documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic guidelines. Ability to supervise and provide direction to support staff and students as appropriate. Maintains professional licensure and adheres to state practice act and professional codes of conduct.

Preferred:

prior experience using outpatient EHR systems and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
