Category Nursing - RN-PACU Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the charming culture and scenic beauty of Moncks Corner, SC as a travel RN in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; flexible scheduling tailored to facility needs This role centers on delivering the highest standard of post-anesthesia nursing care, while engaging daily with patients, their families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Key Qualifications:
Current compact state RN license (or ability to obtain SC licensure) Minimum 1-2 years of recent PACU nursing experience preferred Proficiency in patient assessment, planning, and evaluation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ethical, patient-focused care
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, reflecting each patient's physical, psychological, and social needs Collaborate on individualized patient care plans, prioritizing and evaluating progress toward expected outcomes Provide patient/family education and support, utilizing multi-disciplinary resources Demonstrate clinical competence and comply with department/organizational standards of care Address ethical considerations sensitively, ensuring advocacy and respect for patient rights Coordinate with physicians and the care team to implement, deliver, and evaluate care Uphold safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements
