Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the welcoming charm and community spirit of Delphos, OH, while building your nursing expertise in a highly dynamic setting. This role revolves around the specialized stepdown care of adult and geriatric patients, with the flexibility to float to ICU or Medical-Surgical/Tele units as needed. Collaborate closely with respected leaders and interdisciplinary teams, fostering new clinical perspectives and enhancing leadership abilities.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts, Weekender only (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)
Key Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license (state or compact) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required;
CCRN/PCCN
preferred Minimum 1 year RN experience, with at least 6 months in acute care preferred Demonstrated experience with ICU-level patients, vents, trachs, and advanced respiratory modalities Proficiency in caring for patients requiring drips (Amio, Nitro, Cardizem, etc.), central lines, and specialized post-cardiac procedures Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (study guide provided) Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement evidence-based nursing care Administer medications safely and manage stepdown interventions Collaborate with ICU and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families, coordinate care transitions, and advocate for quality of life Participate in ongoing quality improvement and uphold highest patient safety standards
