Travel PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit in accordance with established protocols and care plans Monitor and interpret vital signs, promptly identifying any changes in patient status Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and patient safety Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, and outcomes in medical records Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care needs and discharge instructions Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to ongoing improvement of patient care processes

Qualifications:
